Lynda Kosh Executive Director
Lynda Kosh joined Meals on Wheels in 2019 with expertise in grant writing and nonprofit org development center focused on social service, workforce development, and transitional housing for women and women with children, including after-school programming, job skills, GED, and food/clothing pantry. As a nonprofit business “jack-of-all-trades” she successfully lobbied for nonprofit issues on a national level in the House and Senate and accepted invitations to the White House on multiple occasions for personal input, experience and successes relating to nonprofit issues from her grassroots perspective. Lynda holds a Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in leadership, and is a certified housing inspector for FEMA. Her interests include singing, playing piano and performing with her musical family. When time allows, she enjoys sewing, floral design and reading. Lynda raises chickens and would like to add fainting goats to her small farm.
April Allford Marketing & Public Relations
April Allford joined Meals on Wheels of Hancock County as PR & Marketing Coordinator in April of 2019. A New Palestine, Ind., native, April has worked in the nonprofit, publishing, renewable energy and pharmaceutical sectors. She is a professionally trained journalist, public relations specialist and social media maven skilled in multimedia content creation, graphic arts, public relations, fundraising and stand-up comedy. The Society of Professional Journalists, Colorado Press Association, Colorado Mountain News Media and Purdue Exponent have recognized April for her notable writing and graphic design achievements. April is a Purdue University and Poynter Institute for Media Studies alumna who thrives in a creative, idea-cultivating environment. She also loves to help people laugh away their worries. She's the mom of two boys, and enjoys hiking, skiing, playing tennis and camping with the family.
Kandice Conner Volunteer & Special Projects Coordinator
Kandice Conner began working with Meals on Wheels of Hancock County as a volunteer driver, and joined the team in June 2017 as Program Coordinator. She now fills the role of Volunteer & Special Projects Coordinator, helping plan many of Meals on Wheels’ most popular fundraising events including bingos and Boots & Bourbon. Kandice was born and raised in Hancock County, and serves as an EMT with Sugar Creek Township. She also farms with her husband, Kyle, while raising two young children, Kash and Kinley. They raise Hereford cattle, show Clydesdales and grow corn and soybeans. Kandice is a member of Tri Kappa, Hancock County Community Foundation women’s group, Hancock County 4-H Livestock Auction, and is a 10-year 4-H member. She enjoys traveling and helping others with service and gratitude.

Stephanie Mellene Program Coordinator
Stephanie joined the Meals on Wheels team in January 2021. Born and raised in Greenfield, Ind., she has 13 years of experience in the accounting realm. She holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Accounting, and Bachelor of Science in Accounting – Managerial Accountancy from Purdue University Global. She is completing her Master of Business Administration degree, set to complete in August 2021. Stephanie enjoys riding horses and spending time with family. She has a 6-year-old daughter who participates in cheerleading at school, which keeps Stephanie especially busy. In the summer months, Stephanie enjoys boating with family, soaking up the sun and hosting pool parties at her house. She loves helping people and making people smile, and is known to be a fun and energetic person.
