Lynda Kosh Executive Director
Lynda Kosh joined Meals on Wheels in 2019 with expertise in grant writing and nonprofit org development center focused on social service, workforce development, and transitional housing for women and women with children, including after-school programming, job skills, GED, and food/clothing pantry. As a nonprofit business “jack-of-all-trades” she successfully lobbied for nonprofit issues on a national level in the House and Senate and accepted invitations to the White House on multiple occasions for personal input, experience and successes relating to nonprofit issues from her grassroots perspective. Lynda holds a Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in leadership, and is a certified housing inspector for FEMA. Her interests include singing, playing piano and performing with her musical family. When time allows, she enjoys sewing, floral design and reading. Lynda raises chickens and would like to add fainting goats to her small farm.
Christina Walker Event & Operations Manager
Christina Walker joined Meals on Wheels of Hancock County in 2022 with 15+ years in the events industry, planning and executing events throughout the greater Indianapolis area. She has been a service-oriented sales manager with many years of experience developing relationships and partnerships, servicing accounts and boosting profits. She has a strategic, analytical, and motivational leadership style, with expertise in building new network connections, promoting products and expanding territories. She has managed logistics of event planning, including contract signing, fee collection, event booking and event promotions. Christina is married and the mother of two adult children and three dogs. She has lived in Indiana her whole life, and in Hancock County for over 10 years. She loves listening to true crime podcasts and watching episodes of "Dateline."
April Allford Marketing & PR Coordinator
April Allford joined Meals on Wheels of Hancock County as PR & Marketing Coordinator in April of 2019. A New Palestine, Ind., native, April has worked in the nonprofit, publishing, renewable energy and pharmaceutical sectors. She is a professionally trained journalist, public relations specialist and social media maven skilled in multimedia content creation, graphic arts, public relations, fundraising, humor column writing and stand-up comedy. The Society of Professional Journalists, Colorado Press Association, Colorado Mountain News Media and Purdue Exponent have recognized April for her notable writing and graphic design achievements. April is a Purdue University and Poynter Institute for Media Studies alumna who thrives in a creative, idea-cultivating environment. She also loves to help people laugh away their worries. She's a boy mom, and enjoys hiking, camping, skiing, tennis, golf and binge-watching interior design renovation shows on HGTV.
Carrie Kosh Program Coordinator
Carrie Kosh joined Meals on Wheels of Hancock County in 2023 as Program Coordinator and to assist with the management of the Circle of Care facility renovations. Carrie is a graduate of Warren Central, and brings 2 1/2 years of experience as a leasing agent for an apartment management company to the table. She also worked at a local, eastside Indy mom-and-pop flower shop and guitar center call center. She is experienced in administrative work, client relations, contracts, scheduling and filing. When she's not training and scheduling volunteers, Carrie enjoys being outdoors, playing piano guitar and singing, She also likes reading in her spare time.
