Thank you for visiting the Meals on Wheels of Hancock County FAQ page! We're here to help you navigate the process of enrolling in our meal delivery service in Hancock County, Indiana. You may also volunteer and donate using the links below.

To begin services, click Apply for Meals below and ask your doctor to fax a prescription to (317) 468-4822. This process also includes a $10 application fee to be paid upfront, or billed with your first invoice.

Is there a waiting list?

Not typically, although please call for availability in your specific location. It takes a week to a week-and-a-half to complete an application and get meals started.

Can I just get the hot meal (or cold meal)?
What is the cost?
My income is low. Is there financial assistance available?
Do you take food stamps?
How long am I required to stay on the program?
What time will I receive my food?
I can’t get up to answer my door. How will I let the volunteers in to deliver?
